We Love Our Volunteers!
A volunteer experience with Columbus Area Habitat for Humanity is unlike any other! Volunteers are essential to the success of the Habitat mission to eliminate sub-standard housing in our community. No matter what your motivation for serving with us, you are guaranteed to leave with the powerful, valuable life experience of making a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
VOLUNTEER ON OUR CONSTRUCTION or RESTORE SITES
Don’t worry, you don’t have to have experience. We have everything you need.
Just wear comfortable work clothes and sneakers or work-boots. A typical volunteer week is Tuesday through Saturday. We currently have a new build, at 224 RC Allen Dr. or you can always volunteer at the ReStore located at 3520 River Road.
INDIVIDUALS

You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.
GROUP BUILDS
Group events can vary from birthdays, family and class reunions, church, civic groups as well as military, college, high school groups and more. Group events can be arranged for 5-15 people per event. Please call at 706-653-8666 or email ruby@columbusareahabitat.com. Minimum age is 16 years or older.
We have two events per day: Construction Site
Morning – 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We have two events per day: Habitat ReStore
Morning – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Afternoon – 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
